Hitting the road in Europe can be a challenge. While the European Union has brought continuity to many things, there are still language and custom barriers to overcome. And as I found while driving, there are some very basic things you should know.
So, I've started a "What to know when traveling" series with a post per country I've visited. In each, I am building in some details specific to that country, such as tipping practices, what to expect in terms of fuel costs and road rules, the languages you should know with a couple of keyphrases and more. I want to grow this resource so you have a quick handle on how to enjoy your time in that country without hunting all over the web for each detail.
This Summer, I'll be heading to Kentucky to take in the best bourbons the state has to offer. Bookmark the site or join me on my Instragram to keep up with my stories and adventures. I hope to provide you with some inspiration for your next journey!
